Income Certificate

Purpose

The income certificate acts as a proof of eligibility to various schemes and benefits granted by the State Government & educational institutions in various fields. The purpose of obtaining an income certificate in Punjab are as follows:

To prove an individual’s annual income for an official or legal purpose.
To obtain a loan from banks and scholarship for eligible students.

Eligibility

Any person who is a resident of Punjab state are eligible to apply for an income certificate

Duration of Certificate:

One Year (Current FinancialYear)

Fee Details:

The applicant can register for income certificate by remitting a processing fee of Rs. 75 per copy

Issuance of Income Certificate

Certificates will be issued at tehsil by the Tehsildar and at sub-tehsil by the Naib tehsildar.
